PROTECTION MEASURES AGAINST NOISE IN BIG CITIES

Protection against noise can be carried out both in an emergence of noise source, and on
the way of its distribution. For successful taking measures it is necessary to know noise
characteristics of sources. The cities are full of noise sources which can be conditionally divided
into four big groups: manufacturing, transport, constructional, household. This article discusses the
noise protection of buildings by various screens and green areas is given separately.
