ATMOSPHERIC-ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING OF SOUTH EAST ASIACOUNTRIES

Abstract

In the article, the physical and geographical location of Southeast Asia, relief, climate,
and population density make the region fertile in many ways. The ecological effects of the historical
economic-development path, economic growth of the region, and close relations with European
countries have caused effects that are difficult to recover. The ASEAN organization's impact on the
region's trade relations has rapidly changed agriculture and the natural environment. The article shows
the extent of environmental damage caused by some plants intensively cultivated in the region and
produced in Southeast Asian countries. At the same time, as a result of the monitoring, the need arose
to take measures to improve the environment. All this has led to the preparation and implementation
of environmental action plans for the region at the global level.
