This article explores the influence of internal and external factors on the management styles of construction projects, focusing specifically on the introduction of an automated design system in the scanning, designing, and modeling processes of project objects. The main types of construction project management styles, such as one-dimensional and multidimensional project management styles, are analyzed. It is indicated that the style is determined by various factors. Authoritarian, democratic, and liberal styles belong to the one-dimensional styles of construction project management. Multidimensional project management styles are characterized by two criteria: structure and focus. Attention to subordinates implies behavior that influences people, fostering relationships based on trust and respect between superiors and subordinates. The objective of this article is to establish a solid foundation for active design by promoting the broader adoption of automated systems for 3D digital modeling (BIM) and 3D printing in the construction industry.
