This article discusses the principle of operation of the sliding formwork, the main elements, the features of measuring and determining the optimal distance between the jacking frames of the formwork system. The principle of operation considers jacks that are used when concreting the formwork, with the help of which they raise the formwork to the desired height for the construction of reinforced concrete structures. It also talks about efficiency especially in the construction of high-rise buildings. In seismic regions, the problem of their reliability and seismic resistance is being solved. Using one set of formwork, by reconfiguring it, the construction of buildings of various planning solutions and different number of storeys is carried out. Given the material from which the sliding formwork is made. The specifics of the operation of manual, hydraulic and electric jacks, with the help of which the formwork is lifted to the desired height. At idle, the forces from the jacking frame and the weight of the formwork adjacent to it are transferred to adjacent jacks. The division of formwork panels according to design features can be divided into large and small panels. Basic formulas for vertical load and distance between jacking rods.
