Abstract

The creative process is complex and multifaceted. During it, the author forms a set of
impressions from the viewer, the consumer, and creates an opinion about what he saw. To do this, he
uses various methods and techniques. One of these techniques, of course, is the "illusion" technique.
It is widely used in various fields of science and art, including graphic design. We will look at the
features of using this technique and how the mechanism of its creation works in art and design. What
methods does this technique use, manipulating the consumer's consciousness, forming new sensations
and perceptions, distorting the visible and revealing hidden information? Used by various means of
graphic design, the "illusion" technique is capable of distorting or forming a completely new image,
which the author seeks to convey to the consumer. Thus, the illusion becomes a kind of new reality.
