EVALUATION OF CIRCULAR PRESTRESSING EFFECT ON CONDEEP PLATFORM STORAGE RESERVOIRS USING MECHANICAL PRINCIPLES

Abstract :The prestressed concrete application of cylindrical structures is now recognized as one of the most cost-effective designs. Circular prestressing addresses the weaknesses of leakage and cracking that are common in traditional reinforced concrete tanks. It requires less maintenance, has superior fire resistance, and is a suitable substitute if steel is costly. This study investigated the entire application of circular prestressed concrete condeep platform supports and provided recommendations for a circular prestressing methodology.
