Abstract

In the article, the thermal analysis of wood constructions that have undergone fire resistance processing, which is widely used in the construction sector, was carried out. AS-143 flame retardant, which we work with, was used as a fire-resistant composition. The experiments were carried out in the interval from (20 ±2) °С to 1000 °С using the Perkin Elmer STA 6000 derivatograph system. The heating speed was changed from 2.5 to 20 rpm. As can be seen from Fig. 1, in the temperature range of 100-250 0C, there is no weight loss in the refractory treated samples, that is, the weight of the samples remains constant. This can be explained as the result of perlite particles contained in the fire retardant absorbing and hydrating the released moisture. It is observed that the heat loss of the refractory treated samples gradually increases with the increase of the temperature in the range of 250-350 0C. The dynamics of the rate of change of weight loss of the samples in the TQ curve is accompanied by an increase from 0 g/min to 10.95 g/min in the temperature range of 350 C - 900 0C. In the control samples, the rate of weight loss increased from 18 g/min to 38.95 g/min in this temperature range. Based on the results of the thermal analysis, it can be noted that it is possible to increase the fire safety of wood constructions used in the construction field by processing them with our designed epoxy-based fire-
resistant composition. In addition to the fact that the designed fire-resistant coating composition is made on the basis of components that are widely distributed in the domestic market and have favorable sales prices, the fact that it can be applied to the surface of structures in a simple way allows such a composition to be widely used.
