INTERIORS OF PEOPLE'S HOUSES OF XIX-XX CENTURIES IN AZERBAIJAN

The article analyzes 19th-20th century folk dwellings, natural and geographical conditions affecting their formation, constructive elements for various purposes in the interior, their forms and functions. As a result of people's struggle with the forces of nature for living, the emergence of different types and forms of residential areas and houses and the influence of people's character, lifestyle, household, reflection of folk architecture practices and construction traditions on their formation were determined. As a result of the analysis, it was observed that artistic tools and domestic architectural elements in the design of residential houses are improved depending on the experiences passed down from generation to generation, as well as regional characteristics, and their formation in a more perfect way.
