DEVELOPMENT OF THE HOUSING MARKET AND SOLUTION OF HOUSING PROBLEMS IN AZERBAIJAN

In the article, the development of housing construction in Azerbaijan in recent years and the issues of providing housing to the population were commented. First of all, it was noted that the formation of the housing market became a decisive factor in solving the housing problems of the population in Azerbaijan. Although the development and formation of the housing market has already been successfully solved in developed countries, it is very difficult to apply this experience successfully in Azerbaijan due to the unique characteristics of solving this problem. Despite all the differences, it was noted that the development of housing construction is primarily related to the increase in GDP. The impact of a number of other factors on the housing market is reflected in the article. The dynamics of housing construction in Azerbaijan is shown by statistical figures. As a special case, compared to the GDP growth rate of 13-16% in 2016-2018, the growth rate of housing construction was shown to be much higher - 95%.
